NOTE Shipped from the factory to Canadian importer DB on December 30, 1958, it was registered to first owner Philip Rosengarten residing in Westmount Canada.
The car is equipped with the factory data sheet which shows all the production details from which you can see that it’s matching in engine/chassis numbers and bodywork/interior colours.
Among the optional accessories indicated in the sheet are the brake booster and the chrome spoked wheels.
From the same factory data sheet it appears that the car passed ownership on 5 November 1988 to Mr. J. Allan Shantz resident in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In the last Canadian registration document issued in April 2011, the car was still registered to the owner J.Allan Shantz.
Imported into England on 2 June 2011 by the company JD Joseph Ltd, in July 2011 it was entrusted to the Coys auction house for the Blenheim Palace auction where it was sold at the price of 85,000 pounds to Mr. Michael Ramon Erwich, owner of the Spellbound Cars company, from Great Westwood UK specializing in Aston Martin.
At the time of the auction it was still in excellent original condition, complete with all details.
The aluminum bodywork was still in perfect condition.

Spellbound cars began the total restoration of this rare left-hand drive example and in February 2017, when it was already in an advanced restoration phase, sold it to an Italian collector at the invoice price of 200,000 pounds.
The entire chassis, bodywork and aluminum panels were already perfectly prepared and ready to be painted in the original color "Pacific Blue".
The front end, rear end, gearbox, electrical system, dashboard, instruments and chrome were already perfectly restored.
Imported into Italy, it was painted by the Ercolani body shop in Faenza using the original "Pacific blue" color imported from England.
The Fiani workshop in Rome, specialized in the restoration of English cars, completely overhauled the engine with replacement of liners and pistons and took care of the entire final assembly of the mechanical parts and bodywork.
The interiors were reupholstered by an expert craftsman using original Connolly leather code VM 3099 as indicated in the production sheet, purchased directly from the factory with a certificate of authenticity dated 12 October 2020.
On 9 November 2020 it obtained the certificate of historical relevance from the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI).
On 10 March 2021, after undergoing testing, it obtained Italian registration.
Since then it has only been run in for 420 miles and is in like new condition.
