June 2, 2025 Update: We’re pleased to report that the restoration of this highly original, limited ownership, numbers-matching, show-level 1964 Jaguar MKII Sedan is now complete, and is currently undergoing final road testing and evaluation. Restored to our Show/Driver level by our team of master craftsmen, this MKII also benefits from a number of thoughtful performance and comfort upgrades that make it equally enjoyable on the road or at your favorite concours.
This original California Jaguar has remained in the Western United States and proved to be a great candidate for restoration. Our team began with a full strip-down to bare metal, followed by rotisserie mounting, metal finishing, leading, and precise body and chrome fit. The sedan was then sealed and painted in a striking Metallic Silver finish, complemented by a newly trimmed Dark Blue interior crafted in correct materials by our in-house Master Trimmer.
The MKII’s matching-numbers 3.8-liter engine was completely rebuilt and tested on our engine station before installation, and the restoration also included a conversion to a 5-speed transmission, and full refurbishment of the fuel, electrical, cooling, and hydraulic systems. The car’s chrome was re-plated as needed, and numerous upgrades were integrated to improve driveability and comfort while preserving the car’s classic appeal.
