Our customer offers for sale this 1985 Mercedes 500 SEL AMG W126. This iconic sedan is equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine with rare AMG camshafts and lifters, paired to an automatic transmission. The car has been restored to its original specifications. The AMG skirts, spoilers, bumpers and wheels are installed shortly after the car was delivered new.
This car is equipped with a lot of options such as:
– Reproduction AMG camshafts and lifters (1 camshaft with AMG seal included)
– Retro-fit AMG/Recaro seats
– Retro-fit AMG/Bilstein sport shocks
– Retro-fit original AMG dashboard

This is an original AMG with retro-fit original AMG parts. Also copies of high quality parts were used (when AMG parts were not available).
The AMG camshafts in combination with the sports suspension gives a higher speed and sportier driving characteristics. The car sounds great, according to the owner.
The AMG valve covers are not original, the originals are included in the sale.
