This fabulous 10/4 comes with a superb history file that includes its original invoice, showing that PV 3339 was first sold in Ipswich in July 1936, finished in Black and Blue, with Blue upholstery. Remarkably, its first keeper held onto it until 1980, and today the car has only ever had four owners. It was reportedly restored in the 1980s and remains in impressive condition.
Receipts and stamped service booklets show a fastidious regime of care throughout the first owner's tenure. When he parted with it in 1980 the car had covered only 51k miles. It appears to have had very little usage since then, and has recently been part of a pre-War collection. The paperwork suggests that its indicated 55,339 miles could be genuine.
This Morris comes with a fascinating collection of period documentation, including the original guarantee certificates (still in their original envelope with George VI postmark), AA route book and a Police Notice regarding the screening of headlamps during WWII. The history file also includes sales brochures, old tax discs and period operations manual.
