You are reviewing a classic Volvo that has been in the orbit of the original owner since new!!The Novermber/December issue of "Rolling" Volvo Club of America magazine featured the car with pictures and historical travels of the car. The original owner was a professor at Pennsylvania State University he was offered an opportunity to join University of Maryland's' international program teaching classes throughout Europe. Upon embarking in his new assignment he did some research on cars an ended up taking delivery of this car in Sweden for the princely sum of $1850.The next few years the car traveled to Germany, England, Italy, Norway, Spain, Scotland, and the former Yugoslavia. From there the car came back home to Nashville Tn, then to Washington DC. The car was then sold to his brother in Louisville Ky. The car was used spartanly and put up for static storage.in 2022 it came back to its original owner. Along the way the car went from original blue to Silver to its current color of green. The car was then gone through mechanically and sorted to its current state of reliability as one would expect from a vintage Volvo.
The paint is beautiful, the whitewalls on the tires are add on and can easily be removed upon taste of new owner. The car was never involved in an accident.
