Welcome to the famous world of Ferrari, where passion for racing meets excellence in cars.
Enzo Ferrari's foray into motor racing began when he joined Alfa Romeo as a test driver. He rose through the ranks and was soon given responsibility for the entire team, and in 1929 Enzo founded the "Scuderia Ferrari," Alfa Romeo's racing division. With a vision to establish his own legacy, Enzo bid farewell to Alfa Romeo in 1939; this momentous moment heralded the birth of a legend. As a vision "to make just enough cars to afford his racing hobby," Enzo decided to open a new factory in Maranello, where it is still located. From legendary victories to the relentless pursuit of perfection on the track, Ferrari's heritage in racing is a testament to the enduring spirit of speed, precision and passion that defines the brand.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia was first unveiled in 2007. The car was co-developed by Michael Schumacher and is designed to compete with the best in its class. The Scuderia is not actually an F430 at all, it is not what the Challenge Stradale was to the 360 Modena: it is a totally new car. Everything is based on the familiar Scuderia ethos: less weight and more power. Through copious use of carbon fiber, larger but lighter carbon-ceramic brakes and lighter rims, the car has lost 100kg. Furthermore, power has been boosted and gearbox shift time halved.
Our Ferrari was delivered new in 2009, the last year of production, and looks inside as if no one has ever taken a seat. The 430 Scuderia exceptionally nicely equipped with a lighter lexan rear window, carbon steering wheel with built-in shift light, carbon diffuser, carbon bucket seats, carbon engine cover and matching carbon engine support frame. The carbon bucket seats appear brand new and the carbon steering wheel is in perfect condition.
From the moment you click the carbon paddles of the amazing Formula 1 sports automatic into first gear, time seems to stand still. With 510hp and 470Nm of torque, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia shoots from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reaches 200 in less than 12 seconds. One, two, three, four red LEDs glowing in quick succession on the top edge of the carbon steering wheel indicate the perfect shift moment. The acceleration is unstoppable and the top speed is 320 km/h. The steering transmits tremendous information and responds quickly and precisely. The carbon-ceramic brakes are incredibly powerful but perfectly dosed. The Scuderia's Formula 1 technology-based, electronically controlled differential is one of the technical highlights of this car. This gives the 430 Scuderia up to 40% more acceleration power than the regular F430 out of the corner. The E-diff is controlled via the manettino that has five modes: snow, sport, race, traction control off or completely without electronic aids. Snow mode helps with slippery road surfaces. Sport is fine for normal driving conditions, while race mode gives you everything: the super-fast 60-millisecond gait changes and a perfectly responsive suspension. The Scuderia is an easy-to-drive super-sport car. It is not scary or mean, but pleasant, smooth and, above all, crushingly fast.
