This 1966 Jaguar 3.8 MkII in Opalescent Dark Blue over red interior, a matching numbers car with its Jaguar Heritage certificate and supplied by Henley’s London. It has passed through our hands on 2 previous occasions some years ago and is now only for sale due to ill health. This is an exceptional example with numerous upgrades including a Tremac 5 speed gearbox with a tall 5th gear for motorway cruising, a blueprinted engine with 9.1 compression, 2” Carbs, lightened flywheel, balanced crankshaft, electronic ignition and stainless tubular exhaust manifolds, all of which contribute to a very free revving engine. It also has a Harvey Bailey handling kit for improved road holding and uprated brakes all round. All of this coupled with electric power assisted steering make this a fabulous car to drive. From our pictures, all taken in September between cloud bursts, it will become obvious of the high quality of this beautiful example which drives as good as it looks. If you are looking for the very best, then look no further, we cannot stress more strongly the excellent quality of this car and it is not expensive for one in this outstanding condition with numerous sensible upgrades at £49,950
