This Morris Mini De-luxe comes with a BMIHT Heritage Certificate, which tells us that it was built in June 1960, finished in Cherry Red and destined for Bristol Motor Company in Bristol. It was first registered on 1st July 1960 and today the V5C records only two previous keepers. It has an advisory-free MoT until 6th October 2026.
The vendor bought the Mini in 2000 from a friend, who in turn had bought it from the son of the original owner. Apparently the car spent its first years in the garage of a funeral director along with horse-drawn carriages. We’re told that the Mini had a re-spray in the 1980s, and today the car is showing 54,740 miles on its odometer.
In addition to the Heritage Certificate, the car comes with various old MoT certificates back to 1987, an original handbook, old V5s and the latest V5C which is in the vendor’s name.
